Sites To Get A Free Education

No one ever stops learning. "Knowledge is power," after all - but sometimes it's hard to find what you're looking for. Or you have something in mind but don't know where to start. I combed through dozens of bookmarks and sites which collected links, removed links which no longer work, and organized everything into one easy-to-read post.
This is a list of sites where you can learn whatever you want. Free courses, low-cost certificate programs, free books, and more. You can finish some things in minutes, and others may take months.
Free courses:
- Code Academy
- Coursera (some courses may stop being available, but you can download them)
- Coursmos
- Cybrary

- Future Learning
- Harvard Open Learning
- Khan Academy

- MIT Open Courses
- Open Yale Courses - Includes videos, transcripts, and supplemental material.
- Open Culture certificate courses - Links to various free courses from Johns Hopkins University and more.
- Open Culture non-certificate courses - Some of these are just videos/podcasts on iTunes or Youtube, but still has good content. Includes some Open Yale courses.

- Udacity - Learn Java, how to create Android apps, and more. Some courses are free, some aren't.
- Udemy - Some courses are free and others aren't. Some of the paid courses are really cheap though ($20 or less) and there are occasional sales/coupons you can take advantage of.

- Amazon - Free books from the public domain.
- Bartleby - Harvard Classics and more.
- Classic Literature Library - Organizes classics into collections. Also includes thousands of recipes.

- DailyLit - Serialized fiction and more.
- Digital Public Library of America
- FeedBooks - Free books from the public domain.
- Project Gutenberg - Offers 50,000+ free ebooks.
- Internet Archive and Open Library - Millions of texts in multiple languages.
- Literature Network
- LoyalBooks - Public domain books.
- ManyBooks - Contains books from Project Gutenberg and the Internet Archive, sometimes with more choices for file formats.
- MET Museum - Free art PDFs.
- Open Culture - Has links to 150+ textbooks.
- UC Press - Includes 700+ books from 1982 to 2004.

- DrawMixPaint - Free courses on drawing and painting.

- Europeana - Over 53 million digitized artworks, books, videos, and more.
- Forvo - Collects pronunciations for "all the words in the world."

- Justin Guitar - Over 900 free guitar lessons.
- Language Community - Tumblr with links to information.
- LibriVox - Public domain audiobooks.
- LMMS - Create music for free. For Mac and Linux you could use Ardour.
- Meetup - Depending on your local area, you can sometimes find free classes and workshops.
- Mint - Figure out a budget for yourself, develop goals, and track where your money goes.
- Omniglot - Phrases in multiple languages, and more.
